Show-and-Share Saturday: Printable Dental Health Unit

We took both boys to the dentist yesterday for the very first time! Little Brother chipped his tooth last week (I have NO IDEA how), so we took him just to make sure it was okay. Big Brother did great–no cavities!

In honor of February being “Dental Health Month”, I thought I would point you to Musings of Me, who has created an ENTIRE printable Dental Health Unit which includes:

  • Capital/lower case letter match
  • See, Trace and Make cards
  • 3 part cards
  • Scissor skills
  • Counting cards
  • Tooth Jumble
  • Tic, Tac, Toe
  • Counting mat
  • Lacing card
  • Size sort
  • Pre-writing
  • Magnet/counter page
  • Tooth sorting mat
  • Letter sort
  • Patterns
  • Number writing practice
  • Letter writing practice

Wow! Aren’t you excited? Head on over here to get started!

  1. Thanks for the resource – my oldest loves going to the dentist and my younger one will start this year. This is a great introduction!

  2. Thanks so much for posting this!! My husband is a dentist and our girls live anything to do with dentistry! My 3 year old is constantly brushing her teeth b/c she says, "I don't want those kind of crowns!!"

  3. Thanks for the link! I took my 5 yr old to the dentist for the first time last week and we did not fare so well. Poor guy's back teeth are a mess, and we got back on Monday (VALENTINE'S DAY!) for an extraction and a crown. He was great at the dentist, and actually had fun. He is looking forward to going back to see the dentist, but of course he has no idea what's going to happen to him, poor fella!

  4. Hey, I went to your link and it says the blog doesn’t exist. Do you know another way of getting this kit? My preK class would love it.
