Spaghetti Designs

After our spaghetti sensory tub last week, we had LOTS of leftover spaghetti.  So we tried a little experiment…we decided to make spaghetti designs on construction paper and see if the would harden and stick.

Guess what???  They did!

The only bad thing is that I didn’t get any other pictures (my hands were too slimy from the spaghetti sensory tub, I guess).  The picture above is one that I made…Big Brother’s design looked much like a “spaghetti bowl” of highways that you might see in a really big city.

The designs hardened and crinkled the paper slightly.  See?  It would be really fun to paint over these after the spaghetti dries.

  5. These look like so much fun!

  6. I bet if you use water color paper that the bending/rippling will not occur. I am super excited to try this. Cheers- Heidi
