Guest Post by Rachel and Victoria of RV Parties
It can seem overwhelming when you start planning a party and try to decide on a theme. A quick scan of Pinterest can be daunting – party planning has gone to all new places in the last ten years. But we believe that picking a theme makes it easier to plan the rest of the details. Once you have your theme, go cruise Etsy and Pinterest for ideas–we are always blown away from the creativity we find out there! This bee shower is one of our favorites. Once the themed was picked, all the other elements quickly fell into place.
On a budget? We’re here to help! For the next two days you can go to Heartsy (a Groupon type site for handmade goods) and buy a voucher for $12 for $24 of goodies. We have non-personalized party packs that can be used for any party or shower for just $22. This way you can go ahead and buy decorations, even if the party isn’t planned! We have a great variety of different themes for different parties–go knock yourself out while they are cheap!
Rachel and Victoria are the designers behind RV Parties. Rachel is a recovering math teacher and mom to Finley 2.75 and Braden, 9 months. She likes to plan parties for her own kids and anyone who will let her. Her proudest party planning moment was creating a circus in her kitchen for Finn while 9 months pregnant. Victoria works in a public school in KC and moonlights as a party planner with an obsession for baby and wedding showers. She planned her first themed party for herself at age 9 – “Shark Attack.” Read on for some party planning tips from R and V!

Really cute ideas! I really liked the part about food labels! I think it really does help tie everything back to your theme. I will definitely try this the next time I have a party!
