It’s almost summer! This means more trips and family vacations…which inevitably also means more time in the car! I admit it…I am horrible at keeping our van organized. In the backseat of our car, you’ll often find a backpack and diaper bag littering the floor along with some random books, snack wrappers, and projects that were created in Sunday School. And in the center console, you’ll currently find a week-old loaf of banana bread that we took with us on our trip last week…yummy!
Prince Lionheart has a great solution for “car organization losers” like me…the back seat organizer! In this organizer, you’ll find several pouches and elastic mesh holders for sippy cups and the like!
We are currently using ours to store some much-needed Wet-Wipes, a sippy cup, the DVDs for the car, and some snacks! I love how all of this can be in the backseat without “junking up” the floor or the console!
The only concern I have is that as the boys get older and are still sitting in boosters, it will somewhat limit the “kick” space they will have (which might not be such a bad thing, after all…no more kicking my seat!). For the time being, however, it is a perfect solution!
The other wonderful part of this travel bundle is the Two Stage Seat Saver.
This heavy-duty seat saver prevents your car seat from leaving impression marks into your car’s seats. This particular seat saver grows with your child. If you have an baby in a rear-facing infant carrier car seat, you just use the bottom tray (which also keeps the car seat level). Once your child moves to a front-facing convertible car seat and then to a booster, you add the back as well!
We have another brand of “seat saver” that we bought when Big Brother was a baby and it is super flimsy compared to this cadillac of seat savers! :)

Oh My Goodness!!!! That seat saver would be such an answered prayer!! My last baby is now 12 and at that time she didn’t have to be in a booster seat until 7 years old. I was able to put her in a (what now appears totally inadequate) no-back booster at about 2 1/2 years old, and we had cloth seats in the vehicle so no damage other than a few dents in the foam. Here I am 12 years later and I am folding towels to put under and behind the convertible carseat/full-back booster seat after discovering that it wasn’t friendly with my leather seat, and I have to do this for another 4 years! Don’t know if my seat can handle it! Even if I don’t with this, I am gonna have to purchase one! And the organizer looks really cool too! Maybe put it on the back of the second row seats for my tween and teen to use in the third row.

Hi, I just want to make sure everyone knows that the seat saver that goes UNDER the car seat is NOT SAFE. It prohibits the seat from being as tightly installed as it should be. In the event of a crash it will compress and your seat and your child will move more than you want. This will also void any warranty with the car seat. Aftermarket products should never be used with car seats. Also, please be aware that the organizer is a hazard as well. In a crash it will NOT hold everything in. We measure force by weight times speed. The weight of the toy/product times the speed you’re going is the amount of force that can potentially hit your child or you. Please do your research on car seat safety and make an appointment to get your car seat checked by a child passenger safety technician. Google “safekids” to find a tech near you!!!! And please
don’t use these products, keep your kids safe!!!!!
Also, I am a child passenger safety technician. We take all of this OUT of your cars because its not safe. Ultimately its your choice, I just hope you choose wisely for your childs sake!
