Welcome! You are your child’s first teacher! This site is dedicated to parents–mother and fathers, stay-at-home parents and working parents. Spend a few minutes each day investing in your child–and a lifetime of rewards they will reap!

I created this blog in July of 2010 as a way to hold myself accountable to being intentional in the time I have with both of my children. It is also my hope that this site can be beneficial for others parents and caregivers wishing to enrich the development of their young child! Within this site, you will find activities for young children, resources for parents, some crafts, and an occasional parenting tip or two!

About Me

I am a former first-grade teacher turned stay-at-home Momma to two boys (ages 3 and 18 months). I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Early-Childhood Education. I then went on to get a Master’s Degree in, none other than…Education.

Above all else, I am striving to grow closer to God each day while leading my children to Him as well.

Meet the Fam

Prince Charming–The love of my life. I am so thankful for this wonderful man and so very blessed to have him as my very best friend. He is my constant encourager and an AMAZING father!

Big Brother–When Big Brother was born, I felt as though my heart would burst from loving too much. He has brought so much sunshine to our lives! His boundless energy keeps me on my toes and his sweet, compassionate spirit warms my heart. He is Mr. Personable and LOVES to be the center of attention.

Little Brother–What a joy this precious little boy has been in our lives. He’s got the sweetest nature and is SUCH a happy, content baby toddler! He makes us laugh every day and fills our home with giggles and squeals. I am confident that he and Big Brother will be best buds all their lives. Little Brother is now on the move and LOVING LIFE. Watch out world, here he comes!
