Felt Advent Calendar with Nativity Scene: Product Review & Giveaway (2 winners)

*Sorry, this giveaway has ended.*

If you recall back in March, I reviewed the Holy Week Easter Banner from heartFELT Truths.  I was thoroughly impressed with how this daily countdown helped prepare our family for our Easter Celebration.  So when Whitney contacted me and asked if I would review her Felt Advent Calendar with Nativity Scene, I was extremely excited!

The package arrived with the felt backdrop and all of the nativity pieces ready to be put up.  I was absolutely ecstatic that there was ZERO prep work.  This time of year always seems to err on the side of pure craziness, so I welcome anything that doesn’t require extra time or effort!  (On a side note, if you want to create your own, Whitney has graciously offered the template for free here.)

Each day, you add another piece of the nativity scene as you read a short caption of the Christmas Story.  Day 1 is Mary and Joseph.  Slowly, day-by-day, the nativity scene is created.  On Christmas, Baby Jesus is added to the manger.

The wise men bringing their gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

The shepherds tending their sheep.

The angels and the star over Bethlehem.

The completed Nativity!

I absolutely love this Advent Calendar for three reasons:

  1. It is simple.  It would be great to use with toddlers and preschoolers.  The daily captions are extremely short (which is perfect for the short attention span of a certain little boy in our house), but it can also be easily extended for older kids.
  2. It helps us focus on the true reason for the season and prepares our hearts to celebrate the birth of Christ.
  3. It is cute, fun, and interactive!

How would you like to win one of TWO Advent Calendars with Nativity Scenes being given away (a $45 value)?  Just leave a comment!

This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only (apologies to my international readers).  The giveaway will end on Friday, November 9 at 10 am (CST).  A winner will be randomly selected shortly after and notified by e-mail.  By entering, you are agreeing to these official rules

Good luck!
