Giveaway: Au Naturale Organic Woombie

*This giveaway is now closed.*

Back when I had a baby small enough, I had the opportunity to review the Woombie. Here are some of the “highlights” from my review:

The Woombie is like a swaddler for dummies–but way more effective! It is a zip-up sack made from a cotton/spandex blend that imitates the baby’s position in the womb. Here’s the exact description from The Woombie website:

“Swaddle your baby Safely and Effectively with The Woombie … designed to ease your mind and comfort your baby so you may both achieve a better nights sleep. The Woombie is the safest & most NATURAL way to Swaddle your baby, encouraging baby to softly stretch extremities as needed, just like in the womb. The Woombie comforts, softly confines arms & gently compresses baby’s unique curves to hug baby… preventing Startling issues, face scratching, overheating and also preventing dangerous loose unraveled blankets from covering baby’s face.”

I wish we would have had this for both of our boys as newborns! Prince Charming is THE BEST swaddler, but my swaddling skills are seriously lacking. Who wants to try to perfectly position a blanket at 2 a.m. anyway??? The Woombie is SOOO easy to use!

Some other things that I really love about the Woombie are the fact that it has a 2-way zipper…making those nighttime diaper changes much easier while also protecting the babies neck from the zipper using a Velcro flap. It is made from a cotton/spandex material which means it really hugs the baby’s body. It also comes in a variety of sizes and styles (even Preemie sizes and Winter/Summer fabrics). Isn’t this ruffle one adorable??? As a mother of two boys..I am seriously ruffle deprived!

The Convertible Woombie has openings for the arms with optional snaps. This way, once your baby begins to roll over you can still use the Woombie by allowing the baby’s arms to be free (this is the one we reviewed).

The Woombie was created in 2006 and has recently received many accolades and awards. It is truly a wonderful product that helps newborns sleep more soundly by mimicking the positioning inside the womb. And it is much safer than covering a baby with a traditional blanket…just make sure you use the Convertible Woombie (not the traditional one) once your baby can roll over!

So, now it’s your turn to enter to win an Au Naturale Organic Woombie. Even if you don’t have a newborn…this would make for a GREAT baby shower gift!

Here’s how you enter, provided you’re already a follower of my blog (via Facebook, Twitter, e-mail, OR GoogleFriend Connect).

-Visit The Woombie Website and leave a comment telling me which Woombie would best fit your needs.

This giveaway ends on Friday at 10am (CST). Good luck!

  2. Oooh I need this! Braden sleeps much better swaddled. We need the BIG BABY one… but I like the ones with ruffles!

  3. The convertible one is a great idea! My kids loved to be swaddled, but we had to abruptly stop swaddling when they could roll over.

  4. I love the banana cream convertible woombie! What a clever idea. Swaddling at 3 AM was always such a pain for me. I can't wait to show the Woombie to my sister in law for my new nephew!

  5. I love the pink ruffle wommbie! I'm about to have our third child in 2 1/2 years and need all the help I can get with swaddling of our little girl expected in September!

  6. We are expecting baby #3!! I am going to bookmark the website for when baby is born! I would have to say my favorite was the original in key lime & sage. My oldest loved to be swaddled and I was never really good with blanket swaddling!

  7. My first baby is due in August… here is Texas there is a LOT of summer heat left!! The summer woombie would be AWESOME to swaddle our little one in!!

  8. I browsed their site and had no idea there were so many options! I still prefer the classic Woombie…the basic swaddles always worked best for our little one!

  9. I have a newborn baby girl who sleeps so soundly when swaddled. The pink ruffled deluxe woombie would be a great option for us. :)

  10. I have an infant (10 weeks old) who I swaddle every night. It must be working because he sleeps 7-9 hours a night. But he is starting to wiggle his legs a lot so the Convertible Leggies Woombie would be a great fit for him. That way when he rolls from back to tummy I can let his arms be free too. All of these products look wonderful though! I have a few different types of swaddles but the woombie line looks really good!

  11. These look so comfortable, I wish I had one when my son was born. My niece is expecting in June and this would be great for her.

  12. Our second son is due in four weeks. I have been wanting to try the Woombie out. I would love the original Woombie in Keylime.

  13. Totally loving the look of this. I'd love to try it with Baby 3 this winter! I'd love the convertible in the newborn size. It looks like it only comes in banana cream, but that would work for us!

    Thanks!
    Heather

  14. We are big swaddlers in our family (all three of mine loved to be swaddled), so the Woombie looks awesome! We're praying for baby #4 so if/when that happens, I'd love to get the Summer Woombie for our hot climate. What a great giveaway!

  15. The convertible woombie in banana cream would be wonderful!!! Thank you so much!

  17. The classic woombie would be awesome for baby number 3. My older two were swaddled to age one! They loved being so snuggly!
    Thanks!
    Evan

  18. The Ballet Pink Ruffles Woombie would be perfect for our girl, who will make her arrival this July. We always swaddled our son when he was little and he slept so well because of it.

    Thanks. Katlyn

  19. I really like the convertible woombie because it seemed like it wasn't long until my little girl wanted her hands free so she could suck her thumb but still wanted to be wrapped tight. We've got a little guy coming in August so it will be interesting to see if he's a hands-free guy too.

  20. My sweet sister has been on bed rest for the past two weeks and will be in the hospital on bed rest until she delivers her second baby. She is 35 1/2 weeks now and I'd love to give this to her as a gift. She has a 2 year old son that they swaddled and now sleeps in a sleep sack similar to the convertible woombie. I know it will be a blessing for her kids to sleep well so I'd love to get the classic or convertible woombie to give her once we find out girl/boy! Hopefully she won't need the preemie size, although it is a great option. I am sure he/she will enjoy feeling as though they are still in the womb! Thanks for this great giveaway!

  21. These Woombie's look amazing! I would need the Houdini Woombie because I have some amazingly talented twin girls that can get out of every swaddle I try! Love your blog!

  22. My Sister in law is having triplets this summer! Any of the original woombies in premie and newborn sizes would be great. I'm sure they are going to need all the help they can get with sleep for a few months!

  23. I would love to try the convertible woombie for our next child due in early Dec. Swaddling is such a help!!! I liked the banana cream, but would probably end up with the grey since we're waiting to find out the sex at delivery this time.

  24. I am really wanting one of these for our next baby. I would love to win the vanilla houdini woombie! =)

  25. Seeing as I am due in 16 weeks….the convertible woombie seems like a great idea. I like that I can use it as the woombie and then when the time comes it can be a sleep sack:)

  26. I have a baby due in about 3 weeks and would LOVE to try a Woombie! The Convertible Woombie looks interesting to me. I tried to swaddle my first child…but it certainly wasn't the easiest thing in the world to do.

  27. Our third baby girl is coming next week and this sounds great! The convertible Woombie looks handy with the option to leave the arms out as they get bigger. (I subscribe via Google Reader, Friend Connect was not working :( )

  28. I would love to win a Flamingo Pink Big Baby Convertible Woombie! Having our second baby girl in 10 days!

  29. Hmmm…I am trying to get pregnant…right now…I am hoping for a girl as I have 3 boys…so if I am so blessed…I would definitely want one of the girly ones…lol! I definitely think the convertible style would fit my needs best bc I like the flexibility of having the choice to open up for arms.

  30. Oh.my.word. That ruffle one is adorable! I think I would choose the Original Woombie though! Thanks!!

  31. Wow, how cute! Our second baby by adoption is due to arrive into the world May 30th, so this would be PERFECT! I would love the summer woombie. We think it will be a boy, so probably blue dots LOL. Hope I win!

  32. This is neat. I've been using the miracle blanket, but my little one has outgrown it and not sleeping as well since! I'd love a chance to win a convertible leggies or a convertible woombie ~ the Blue Lagoon, in a big baby or even mega baby size (he's a big boy for 5 months). What a neat product! How did it work for your little one?

  33. The convertible woombie with legs looks great!! I always struggles with a swaddled babe when I want to set them down in a bouncer and make sure they're safe.

  34. The houdini woombie looks like the one we would most want. We always swaddle our newborns pretty firmly.

  35. We had our last child in a blanket sleeper until he was at least 18 months old. He loved to be in them and needed the warmth at night. These look great and even more snuggly! Any of them would be wonderful but I like the idea of the convertible.

  36. Hi!
Definitely the summer Woombie! I am using a swaddler now for my 3 week old boy and it is fleece and getting a little too warm for the weather – but he really loves being swaddled and sleeps much better when he is. I'm not good at swaddling with blankets either, so this would be AWESOME!!

  37. I would love to win one of these! I wish I would have known about it when my fifteen month old daughter was tiny, she used to startle herself awake a lot (I'm a horrible swaddler) and this would have helped so much! We are currently trying for our second child and this would be an awesome thing to have!

  38. Don't know what gender this tiny treasure will be so, the houdini in vanilla or the organic in au natural would be wonderful! The woombie donut is cute too.

  39. The convertibile woombie would be a great way to transition from being swaddled to unswaddled at night.

  40. I love the organic Woombie in buttercup for newborns or big babies! We used another "swaddler" for our first baby, but he always got his little arms out even with velcro – this looks like it would solve that problem!

  41. I finally got my little guy to sleep through the night while swaddled but he's quickly out growing his sleep sack. I love the convertible
    woombie.

  42. Woombie saved my life with my first baby. I HIGHLY recommend it. I would love a converter wooombie for the next little stinker.
    Thank you!

  43. Our baby girl is due in July so I would love the summer one in pink polka dots… in the newborn size. I've swaddled my other babies. This is the first I've heard of the Woombie!

  44. I follow via GFC and I love the Convertible Woombie! Adorable!

    jennifercausby at hotmail dot com

  45. The Convertible Leggies Woombie would be amazing! My first son had to sleep at an incline (usually in his FP Rock'n'Play sleeper)- this would have been perfect!

  46. I think the buttercup organic one looks snuggly and cozy and would make a great gift for a friend of mine.

  47. Ah! I saw these on another blog and was salivating over the ballet pink ruffled woombie. However, since I'm only 11.5 weeks along with #2, I don't know if I'm having a boy or a girl. So the keylime newborn original woombie looks great, or the leggies woombie in newborn would be great, too!
