Hi – I enjoyed your entries about your “Snow Days’ last week – your sons seemed to be having a great time in the snow :)
I noticed on our T.V. weather news tonight that there is another storm in the U.S. mid-west – which I think is the area you live in – if you haven’t done it yet, it might be the time to make “Snow Ice Cream” for the boys – a tasty treat on a winter day. In my community in the Ontario “Near North”, which means not “really ” north, but not the warmer urban southern Ontario either. The snow is at least 2 feet deep in many open areas, the lake has been frozen since mid December, and there have been more snow / ice days this year than usual. Spring will arrive – the snow will start melting in early to mid-March – and our trees will leaf out by mid-May.
