Top Eleven in ’11: #11

For the next eleven days, I’ll be counting down the most popular posts of the year. The posts you will see in the coming days have had the most visits according to Google Analytics.

Let’s start with #11.

Ribbon Blanket for Baby

It all started with a simple description from a parent of one of my students as she was picking up her daughter from school! The first ribbon blanket I made was for a sweet friend of mine’s baby boy. Little did I know, 10 short months later I would be holding a sweet baby boy of my own. Big Brother liked his ribbon blanket I made him for a short time, but took to another blanket as his beloved “Bissie” (aka “Cozy one”). So the ribbon blanket was passed down to Little Brother, who LOVES it and still sleeps with it at every nap or nighttime rest. In fact, you’ll often find him roaming the halls of our home clutching his beloved ribbon blanket.

And if you’re really lucky, you might even find it on his head…

I’ve probably made over 20 of these blankets and they are SO EASY! Even if you’re a beginner at sewing, I assure you that this is a product you can tackle!

Head on over here to see how to make your very own ribbon blanket!

You are so creative with your ideas, you make so many wonderful things and play so many fun games with your kids. You try new things. You embrace life! What a great encouragement! Thank you! :)

  2. I’m so thrilled that such a quick conversation turned into something so cool! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
