  1. I think your ideas are great. During the summer months I try to teach my son the type of things he will be learning in the coming school year. Last summer he was highly resistant to learning anything over the summer. He had a hardish time with the math lessons this year. I gave him the I told you so talk without the actual use of the “I told you so”. He understands now how learning over the summer months is a helpful thing for him. With all of the creative ideas you are sharing I will be able to help him and he won’t find it so boring. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful ideas. I am very fortunate to have a wise 8 year old who wants to do good in school. Have a wonderful and safe weekend!

  2. Aw, this was an incredibly good post. Finding the time and actual
effort to generate a really good article… but what can I say… I put things off a
whole lot and never seem to get nearly anything done.

  6. Hi , my name is Jane. I have a grandson just turn 7 years old,is going to 2nd grade this fall
I’m so worry about him because he still can’t read for him it’s so hard to make the sound of letters I help him to practice the sight words I do a lot of things to help him still he can not do it. I noticed that when we practice the sight words few minutes later he forgets like for example:when, here ,there , where. I don’t know what can I do. Do you think I need professional help?
If you have any advise please let me know.
    Thank you

  8. Thank you so much for the work, time, and effort that goes into this website. I love it! I have a 9 year old boy, and a soon to be 1 year old boy and there are great ideas on here for the both of them. In a couple of weeks at my 1 year olds birthday party we will actually be doing a few of the activities that you have posted. I will definitely be making him those homemade shakers out of seasoning bottles. The mentos geyser and the fireworks in a jar are going to be a definite do for my 9 year old! Thanks again and keep up the great work. Your ideas are fun and creative!

  13. awesome effort by you Jenae, and magnificent output . Was looking for a suitable Bible to read to my 2 year old boy and to engage him in scriptures early in his life. Your recommendations have been a timely help. Thanks a zillion tons.

  14. I am disappointed with the advertisement. I have subscribed your website as I had the impression that it could be very helpful. The first thing that was advertised was free download if you suscribe and there is no way to download the file that I wanted it. I did not expected to advertise it and then do not allow any download so basically it’s a lie.

  15. Morning….I am going to do your montly blessing bag with my grandsons. I found your February, March, April. By chance do you have the rest of months of the year posted somewhere. Thank you for your time.

  16. Hello,
I just subscribed and have not been able to download the booklet that goes with the science kit for kids. When I click on the link, it asks me to subscribe, which I’ve already done, and I’ve already clicked on the link provided in the email message that I received. I’m not sure what else I need to do. I love the ideas you have presented, and I know that my grandchildren will, too.
    Thank you!

  17. Hello again,
If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, again! It took several attempts, but I was finally able to access the science booklet and download it. I know we’ll have fun while learning.
    Thank you!

  18. I also had trouble down-loading the Science Booklet. I will make another attempt, before giving up so soon.

  19. I have signed up for your email twice now and have not received a confirm. I have been trying to get the science experiments. It’s a bit frustrating. Your website and facebook is very interesting though.

    1. I am so sorry! I am finally sitting down to go through my comments after taking a break over the holidays? Were you able to get the link to work? Again, so sorry!
