Exploring Easter: Thursday
Here are a few ideas for making today meaningful…
- Wash the feet of your family members. Read John 13:1-17. Then grab a bowl of water, some towels and experience this part of the Easter story together as a family!
- Pray in the garden. Visit a garden or park. Take a few moments to pray there together as a family. Then read Luke 22: 39-46.

- Talk about betrayal (appropriate for school-aged children). Ask your older child if a friend has ever hurt their feelings. How did that make them feel? Then read Matthew 26: 14-16, 47-56.
These ideas were adapted from the Exploring Easter feature from Thriving Family magazine.
