Free eBook: Fascinating Science for Kids

I shared on my Facebook page earlier this week that things were going to be a little slow on the blog this week while I worked on something extra-special for YOU! It’s here:  A FREE eBook filled with science experiments for kids…just in time for summer!

One of Big Brother’s favorite things to do is science experiments. He is too young to understand the “science” behind most of them, but he enjoys them nonetheless. Science experiments offer a perfect opportunity to teach cause-and-effect, even with children who can’t yet understand the scientific principles at work.

I thought it would be fun to start making “Science Time” a regular in our house, but I wanted something that was easily accessible so I didn’t have to find the experiments on my computer every time. My solution?

I combined all of my favorite science experiments into a printable eBook! And I’m giving it away for free to new and current e-mail subscribers!!!

Most of these experiments were adapted by others I found around the web (you can find links to those posts at the bottom of each page) and the pictures are all original to me.

Here is a sneak-peak of a few of the pages…

In addition to the eBook, I’ll be walking you through each of the experiments step-by-step over the next several days!

What are you waiting for? Here’s what you need to do to download your very own eBook:

    •  Go here and enter your e-mail address to subscribe for free e-mail updates. You’ll immediately receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your subscription.

    • Once you have confirmed, you will receive an e-mail from me (Jenae) with the subject line “Thanks for signing up!”. Your link will be at the bottom of that e-mail. :)

*If you would rather not subscribe via e-mail, you can also “like” us and then send a private message to get your eBook.

  23. Hi,
Just want to say how much I love your blog. I have found so many ideas to use, both as a teacher and as a mother of 3. I want to make this book for my little scientists, but the link to subscribe doesn’t work. Can you please, please help.
    Thanks so much,

  24. Joined to get the free e-book… confirmed my email, still waiting for the link. Really? I appreciate that it’s free, but feeling a bit duped.

    1. I am so sorry that you felt that way and I am very sorry that it is taking a while to get the link. I assure you that you were not “duped” nor do I appreciate the assumption that I am dishonest. Sometimes the 2nd e-mail takes a while longer and depending on what version of Adobe Reader you have installed on your computer, you might have to update it to access the printable. I have also had a few problems with my e-mail subscription service not linking correctly to the eBook (which I am working through). I went ahead and included the link in the comment above so that you can print it right away.

  25. Hi Jenae
I can’t believe some people, they just need to figure it out themselves.
Thank you so much for taking your time to share your ideas for free! Please keep doing what you’re doing!
I’m also a primary school teacher, and now mother of two (girl and a boy). I loved doing science stuff with kids but struggled with the ideas
I’m looking forward to starting with my little munchinks soon
    thank you again!

  26. Wow….we had a fantastic “science day” using your book…thank you so much…brought all the items we needed with our weekly online food shop & set up a “science lab at home….my little professors had a wonderful day…..along with their own lab coats, goggles & lanyards…the whole day for around £10-£15……to do all the experiments…. so much fun!!! (they are still talking about it weeks later!

  27. Would you please email me a link to receive the free ebook of science experiments? Although I joined by email, I’m unable to get the book. Thank you so much!

  28. I did the email as requested to get my free science book download but I’m not seeing it. Can you please clarify if I get the download or not?

  29. Thanks for these wonderful ideas, I’m putting together a science experiment kit for a birthday present and would like to attach the science ebook, I’m having trouble finding it, any suggestions?
