Garden Activities for Kids: A Weekly Plan

This weekly plan includes lot of garden activities for kids!  Incorporate flowers and gardening into your everyday learning with these simple ideas!

Garden Activities for Kids

This week my kids start back to school, albeit online.  We have been told their expected instructional/learning time will be minimal so I wanted to have a plan to do some fun thematic activities, especially for my kindergartener.  I thought I would share this simple weekly activity plan with you so that you could join us in doing some of these activities as well!

My plan is to provide these activity plans on a weekly basis.  However, we are also in the process of moving so I can’t promise it will happen each week!

These garden activities for kids aren’t necessarily all about planting a garden, although we certainly hope to do that.  But we also are learning a variety of academic concepts using the theme of flowers and gardens.

(Psst… I have a notoriously black thumb so I am hoping we will have success with the first year of a vegetable garden!)
