Laundry Basket Push

Babies love to push things. Some fun things to push are strollers, child-size chairs, push toys you can buy from the store and even laundry baskets–which easily slide across the floor. Little Brother enjoyed putting things in the basket, pushing it for a while, then taking the toys out.

Believe it or not, this is a great activity to develop balance and gross motor skills. Whether your child is walking yet or not, he’ll enjoy the support (and fun) of pushing a basket!

What a great idea! My son loves to push around his cars so maybe pushing the laundry basket will help him with walking.
