This activity was SO easy, SO quick, and SO fun! The end product is a really neat abstract-type painting!
Here’s what you’ll need: peach pits (washed and dried), paint, a piece of construction paper, and a 9×13 cake pan.
| Lay your piece of construction paper in the cake pan (you might have to trim it if it doesn’t lay flat). Add a few squirts of paint. |
| The end product is a neat “painting” and some colorful pits! |

I do this with marbles for our letter M art project. The kids love it! This looks great because I bet they don't roll around as much as the marbles do.
I love the texture that the peach pit gives and the rolling of the pit makes the roll unpredicable I'm sure, how fun.
Very fun!! I know what we'll be doing tomorrow afternoon! thanks Jenae!
How fun, I remember doing this with marbles when I was a kid.
Neat idea! Here in Georgia, we always have peach pits in stock! :)
This looks like fun! And, I've got peaches in my refrigerator right now… I think we'll be trying this project. Thanks for the great idea!!
We ate avocados today, thinking we’ll give this a try with the super large pits from them :)
This would be fun to do with an oatmeal canister or coffee can too. It would be neater for a rainy day.
