When You Rise is a brand new blog that aims to provide fun and applicable lessons on God’s word for children of all ages! I have already gained so much insight and encouragement from reading this blog…and it’s not even a month old! The authors of When You Rise are not only moms to young children, but one is a former fourth grade teacher and the other received her degree in Bible theology. These girls know their stuff!
Stop by and check out all of their great ideas and I especially encourage you to take some time to read their inspiration posts on parenting! This post was extremely convicting to me! They have a plethora of ideas on teaching the Old Testament (including an adorable Queen Esther thematic unit) and the New Testament. And if you have older children, you’ll love their series on God’s Big Picture, which aims to teach children that the Bible is written as ONE book, not simply a collection of separate, unrelated stories.
