A Note from Meagan

If you have been reading this blog at all over the last month, you probably already know that we set a goal to raise $2,000 for my friend Meagan, who is moving back to Zambia next month to care for the babies at an orphanage called Namwianga Mission. You may or may not know that we met our goal. Yay!!!

Today I received an e-mail from Meagan, which she asked me to pass along to each of you:

Dear friends of Jenae,

I am completely blown away by your kind and compassionate hearts, your willingness to help someone most of you have never met! I was so surprised when I saw Jenae’s blog post about my return to Zambia– I had no idea she was planning something like that, but it came at the perfect time. I was able to see God’s faithfulness, and your generous response reaffirmed my calling to go. God continues to show me every step of the way that He is leading me, and He has me going where He wants me to serve. Your gifts were another needed reminder that I’m on the right path, even when it’s sometimes a scary, unknown one! I wish I could thank you each in person, but please accept my sincerest thanks for the ways you’ve given to help me serve our babies. It would not be possible without you all, and you have blessed me so much. Someday in heaven, I pray you’ll get to meet each sweet child and see how much your gift has meant in the lives of these children. Until then, please keep following our journey!

Lots of love and thanks,

Meagan

Be sure to keep up with Meagan over at her blog  Haven on Earth.  It is so encouraging to read her posts and see the precious faces of the children in her photos!

And just in case you missed this video in my first post, I’m sharing it again. I have watched it probably 3 or 4 times already. Take 10 minutes to be inspired…
