CloudPets™: The perfect companion when a parent is away
My husband frequently travels for work. Because he is such a hands-on dad, it is difficult for our kiddos when he is gone as they absolutely love and adore time with their Daddy. The bedtime routine is an especially grueling time for everyone, as they are used to having Daddy there to tuck them in. So when CloudPets™ asked me to share a sponsored post about their product, I was excited for the opportunity to try it out!
CloudPets™ has created stuffed animal companions for children whose parents or loved ones are frequently gone due to work obligations or military leave. Voice messages are recorded and then played on the child’s stuffed animal. There are 4 different CloudPets™ available: a dog, bunny, cat, or bear.

My husband can record a message on his phone from where he is traveling. The message comes to my phone first (a huge security feature) and then I can send it to the CloudPet™ via Bluetooth. The CloudPet’s heart blinks red when there is a new message and can be easily played by squeezing the CloudPet’s paw.

CloudPets can provide a tangible connection to parents using a beloved and cuddly toy. FaceTime and Skype are wonderful as well, but the messages can’t be cuddled or replayed over and over again.
Here’s how it works:
Once you receive your CloudPet™, you then download the CloudPets™ app from either the Apple Store or Google Play. Both the parent away from the home as well as the person caring for the child will have to download the app. CloudPets™ only works when the app is downloaded on both devices. Once the app has been downloaded and you have created an account for the parent and child(ren), messages can then be recorded and sent to the child. The message will show up on the caretaker’s mobile device. As long as it is within about 30 feet of the CloudPet™, it can be wirelessly sent via Bluetooth. The heart of the CloudPet™ will blink red, indicating there is a new message. Your child can then play the message as many times as he/she wants!
Overall, our CloudPet™ is a fun product that definitely serves a unique purpose, especially for those kiddos who are frequently away from a parent.
