Candy overload is a bad thing in our house. Not only for our kids, but also for me! We normally give our boys a generous portion of their candy on Halloween night and then keep the rest in a bowl high in the pantry for a yummy treat every now and then. But I am tall enough to reach the bowl…and I end up consuming a good amount of candy myself (I have self-control issues, apparently). Just like our Non-Candy Valentines, I thought it would be helpful to compile a go-to list of non-candy ideas for Halloween.
These would be great to hand out to trick-or-treaters…or to give out for a class party. All of the items on this list cost less than a dollar, so it could end up being every bit as reasonable as giving trick-or-treaters a giant handful of chocolate. :) Without further ado, here are 19+ Non-Candy Halloween Ideas for Trick-or-Treaters.
