Jack-O-Lantern Knock Down Game

We had so much fun with this Jack-O-Lantern Knock Down game. We used the toilet paper pumpkins we made last week and it made setup a breeeze. This could easily be adapted for a classroom party or can just be played for your own kids’ enjoyment. My boys had a blast!
Find instructions for the toilet paper pumpkins here. Besides those, all you will need is a small ball!
1. Set up your pumpkins in a stack. You can put them on the ground or even on a table or raised surface to make it easier for younger kids to knock them down (it was tricky on the ground).
2. Have your child experiment with different ways of attempting to knock over the jack-o-lanterns…underhanded throw, over-handed throw, etc.
I think this guy might have a future as a bowler. Look at that form! ;)
A point is earned for every “jack-o-lantern” knocked over! Keep playing until someone gets to 10. :)

Love this Jenae – we’ve got a “play street” day coming up (where the street gets closed to cars) just before Halloween and this would be so much fun
