I Get to Be the One
Thank you so much to those of you who sent in your pictures! I cried almost the whole time I was putting the slideshow together.
Every child is a precious gift from God.
Every picture has an unforgettable story, one that I wish you could tell me face-to-face over a cup of coffee Dr. Pepper.
I hope you will love it as much as I do. It is a true celebration of moms and their love for their babies.
May we always remember…
on the hard days,
the days filled with absolute joy
and even those days where we are too exhausted to see straight…
what a privilege it is to get to be the one.

Beautiful!!! Having twins I loved seeing the moms of twins! I didn’t get to see mine until 3 days after they were born, because I was in such bad shape! I begged and pleaded to go to the NICU and remember it so clearly. I held my son for literally seconds and then said I’m going to pass out and was immediately taken away! I wasn’t even able to hold my daughter.
I needed this today as I’m struggling with my 2 1/2 year old this morning. I needed to remember the joy of having her!!

Dear Jenae, I do not usually leave comments, but I love everything you post. This video, however, was just so precious and such a blessing to me that I had to write and say thanks. I co-teach a group of young moms at my church and we always open our time together with a video at our monthly meetings. This last month we couldn’t find anything that felt ‘right’, you know? Then I received this post in my email box and knew it was from the Lord! We shared your video at our meeting and let’s just say all of us leaders had to go find enough tissues to accommodate 100+ teary mommies! :-) Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together.
