I bought three hula-hoops at the dollar store a few days ago and the first thing Big Brother did when we brought them in the house was to lay them out and jump from one hoop to the next. What a great gross-motor activity!

Hula hoops are a great inexpensive toy. We have two and our two girls are constantly asking us to set up obstacle courses for them. What a great way to get them up and moving!

I love the hula-hoop idea! My 3 year old son would have a lot of fund doing that. :)
I have 6 children and 6 hoops i place in a circle. We move around the circle singing “this is the way we drive around, drive around, drive around. This is the way we drive around and then we all jump in!” Continue the gross motor activity by flying, hopping, slithering, swimming, etc.
