I found these glittery felt stick-on fall shapes at Michael’s in the clearance section for $0.99. I decided to let Big Brother create a “fall scene” on a piece of construction paper with the stick-ons but then also thought they would make for a great candle holder as well!
Here’s what you’ll need: Some fall stickers (foam, felt, or paper), construction paper, a Level 3 Baby Food Jar, and a tealight candle.
1. Cut out a green “hill” from construction paper and let your child glue it to a piece of blue construction paper. |
2. Let your little one peel the backing off of the stickers. |
3. Then let him place them on the paper. It’s the process, not the product…we don’t have flying pumpkins around here! |
4. If you’d like to make the candle as well, just put the tealight in the baby food jar and place the stickers on the outside of the jar. |
