School is just around the corner…literally. Big Brother starts 2nd grade next week and I can hardly believe it. We’re in the midst of all the school preparations, enjoying our Back to School date, shopping for school supplies, and crossing off some last-minute things off our summer bucket list. I’ve also started thinking about lunches.

Last year Big Brother varied between eating the school lunch and packing a lunch. When I do pack his lunch, I LOVE to send little love notes in his lunchbox. It is my way of letting him know I am thinking of him during the day. So when Sara Lee® Bread asked me to share a sponsored post about their , I was very excited to jump on board!

Lunch notes are a great way to encourage your child during the day and let him/her know how much they are loved. After all, who doesn’t love getting a love note? Lunch notes can help connect you and your child, even when you are apart. These special notes can also instill confidence and security in your child even during a tumultuous school day.

Sometimes I like to write my own notes (like the one pictured below), but often times I am in a hurry and it is helpful and convenient to print out a pre-printed note or joke. After all, every kid loves a good joke that they can share with their friends at the lunch table.

Sara Lee® Bread has created a brand new website with free customizable and printable lunch notes to include in your child’s lunch box. Just type in your child’s name and you will receive a PDF to download and print up to 30 lunch notes (5 new lunch notes each week). And don’t forget to download the coupon while you are there!

And by the way, we love Sara Lee® 100% Whole Wheat Bread. My boys’ favorite sandwich is peanut butter and honey. Although it isn’t the most healthy option, this is what they ask for time and again. I feel better knowing they are eating it on a wholesome and great tasting bread, with no high fructose corn syrup or artificial colors or flavors! :)
