Outdoor Sticky Collage
I’ve been seeing all sorts of fun sticky table ideas floating around the blogosphere and I was excited to them with our boys. The last few weeks have been absolutely beautiful here, so we’ve been trying to spend as much time outside as possible. I decided to take our sticky paper and duct tape outside and let the boys create an outdoor sticky collage!
Here’s what you’ll need: contact paper (or one-sided sticky paper) and duct tape.
Lay out the contact paper, sticky side up, and duct tape the edges onto the pavement. I was too lazy to run inside and grab some scissors, i just kept the paper on the roll!
Let your kids start bringing their ‘treasures’ to add to the collage. Leaves, twigs, pine cones, and rocks all ended up on our collage!
Don’t mind the shark helmet…we were in the midst of many outdoor adventures (including bike riding on the driveway).
And just because they’re so cute…
That looks like so much fun! I just bought a roll of contact paper so w will be doing this tomorrow!
I’d love for you to share at my outdoor play link party. http://tutusandteaparties.blogspot.com/p/come-play-outside.html
Love it. And thank you for sharing and showing how you were feeling too lazy to grab scissors;) It always makes me feel better when other moms share such details.
This is such a fun idea!! I can’t wait to try it. I love your blog by the way. Thank you for sharing with us!!

You can also make a mini one by putting a piece of masking tape around each child’s wrist (sticky side OUT) and allow them to put things that they find on a nature walk on their “bracelet.” They will love looking at their treasures when they get home! :)
Sure can! We have actually done that several times. I blogged about it last October: https://www.icanteachmychild.com/2010/10/leaf-bracelet/ :)
